As I wrote in my book, I've tried lots of
different diet and exercise plans, mostly without
too much success.
I have however found that trying to educate
myself about health and fitness issues, has
definitely been helpful. There's tons of useful
information online, although lots of trash too.
You of course want to be skeptical of pseudo-scientific claims,
claims that are too good to be true, and statements made by people
trying to sell you products and services.
One course that I did buy during my weight loss journey was
The Truth About Six Pack Abs.
I have to say, that I didn't follow the course all the way through, and no I haven't got six pack
abs. But, I did get quite a lot of value from it, and it helped turn me on to new ideas and ways of thinking.
To be honest, for me, the most valuable part of the site was the free email newsletter ("ezine"), and
I'd recommend that you sign-up for that even if you have no interesting in buying this course.
If you go the website, there's
a page where you can enter your email address
to get some free report downloads and other stuff - using that form, will also subscribe you to the newsletter.
That's it for weightloss books - I recommend instead you find some books that interest you, which you can
read on your Kindle while pedalling furiously on your static exercise bike.
